The present invention relates to an X-ray detector holder stand for maintaining the position of a detector, in which an X-ray image is to be formed, the X-ray detector holder stand comprising: a pillar comprising a pillar housing which is erected on a base, and which has a sliding window formed on the front surface thereof so as to extend upwards/downwards, a rack fixed inside the pillar housing so as to extend perpendicularly, a wire wound around multiple pulleys installed upwards/downwards inside the pillar housing so as to extend perpendicularly to the front/rear side of the rack, and a balance weight coupled to the wire behind the rack inside the pillar housing; an arm comprising a sliding block guided upwards/downwards by the pillar along the sliding window, a stopper gear rotatably coupled to the sliding block so as to rotate between a locking position and an unlocking position with regard to the rack, an elastic pressurizing means for pressurizing the stopper gear such that same rotates to the locking position, and a lever means for rotating/operating the stopper gear to the unlocking position; and a holder coupled to an end portion of the arm so as to enable a rotational manipulation upwards/downwards/leftwards/rightwards.
