Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on the risk that an evaporated fuel is released to the atmospheric air when the evaporated fuel over an upper limit of a fuel amount which can be captured by a canister flows into a canister as a result of reduction of opportunity of executing purge treatment caused by stop of an operation of an internal combustion engine loaded on a hybrid vehicle even during traveling of the vehicle, in the internal combustion engine including the canister for capturing the evaporated fuel to prevent the evaporated fuel generated in the fuel tank storing the fuel, from being released to the atmospheric air, and introducing the fuel captured by the canister to an intake passage by the purge treatment.SOLUTION: A reforming catalyst for removing unsaturated hydrocarbon included in an evaporated fuel to alcohol, is disposed on a position to be kept into contact with the evaporated fuel, to increase alcohol concentration of the evaporated fuel and a liquid fuel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
