Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproduction technology capable of easily selecting a virtual viewpoint picture as reproduction video from a viewpoint position desired by a user in relation to an imaging location.SOLUTION: A video reproduction device comprises: an acquisition unit for acquiring an imaged picture imaged by each of a plurality of cameras for imaging a periphery of a vehicle during the vehicle's travelling and information on an imaging location at which the imaged picture is imaged; a conversion unit for projecting the imaged picture on a virtual projection plane to perform conversion to a projection picture; a generation unit for generating a virtual viewpoint picture viewed from a virtual viewpoint, on the basis of a plurality of the projection pictures; and a display control unit for making a display device display a map picture including an own vehicle position mark showing the imaging location before making a plurality of indices for selecting a virtual viewpoint direction for the virtual viewpoint picture be displayed in the vicinity of the own vehicle position mark. The generation unit generates, as reproduction video, the virtual viewpoint picture in a virtual viewpoint direction corresponding to an index selected by a user's operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
