Abstract:
To inhibit damage of a DPF support mechanism caused by vibration in a pitch direction by rational modification using air supply side configuration of a cylinder head.SOLUTION: A DPF 40 which purifies exhaust gas from an exhaust manifold is disposed in a posture which is orthogonal or substantially orthogonal to a rotation axis of a crank shaft in a plan view. A support mechanism 60 which causes the DPF 40 to be supported by a cylinder head 4, an intake manifold 6, and an intake collector 51 is provided. The support mechanism 60 includes: a first support position P1 where the DPF 40 is supported by the cylinder head 4; a second support position P2 where the DPF 40 is supported by the intake manifold 6; and a third support position P3 where the DPF 40 is supported by the intake collector 51. The third support position P3 is disposed at a position offset relative to the first support position P1 and the second support position P2 in a rotation axis direction of the crank shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
