Abstract:
To solve the problems in which: in a case of a gate type parking lot, it is very troublesome that a customer needs to stretch his hand from a vehicle to insert cash, a parking ticket or a service ticket to a fare adjustment machine at the retrieving gate; there is a risk forgetting or losing the parking ticket or the service ticket; and in a case of a coin parking where there is a space for a monthly user and a space for a user paying by the hour, since it is not possible to determine whether a monthly user or a user paying by the hour during storing, a parking ticket is issued even for the monthly user and the parking ticket has to be inserted into the fare adjustment machine during retrieving.SOLUTION: A control method of a parking gate comprises the steps of: photographing and analyzing a license plate of a customer's vehicle by a computing system when storing the vehicle to a gate type parking lot; retrieving credit card data corresponding thereto; and performing settlement of parking fare without cash and a card, control of gate opening/closing, and providing a service for each customer on the basis of the obtained credit card data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
