Abstract:
To obtain a vehicle control device or the like capable of determining whether or not an object to be detected from a vehicle side is a non-obstacle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device detects reflection points where a detection wave to be transmitted from a vehicle side to objects are reflected, performs clustering of detected reflection points so as to generate clusters corresponding to each one of the objects, calculates a characteristic line of a non-determination object based on reflection points in a generated non-determination cluster, calculates a mobile locus of a determination object based on time-sequential data of reflection points in a generated determination cluster, and determines whether or not a determination object is a non-obstacle based on a calculated characteristic line and a calculated mobile locus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
