Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record information at high density by filling the space between a signal pattern layer of a substrate and a light transmitting layer having 50 to 200μm thickness with a resin and hardening the resin to adhere the light transmitting layer to the substrate. SOLUTION: In this information recording medium, the space between an aluminum reflection layer 5 on a transfer glass substrate 4 and a thin cover glass 10 is filled with a resin 11, and the resin is hardened to adhere the thin cover glass 10 to the transfer glass substrate 4. By this method, an optical disk 12 in which signals on the aluminum reflection layer 5 can be reproduced through the thin cover glass 10 can be produced. By significantly decreasing the distance between the objective lens 13 and the aluminum reflection layer 5 compared to a conventional medium, a high NA of the objective lens can be obtd.
