PURPOSE:To make a synthetic resin molding highly and permanently antistatic by forming a cured coating film from a specific ultraviolet-curable resin compsn. contg. a monomer having a quaternary ammonium salt group on the surface of the molding. CONSTITUTION:A monomer of the formula [wherein R<1> is H or methyl; R<3>, R<4>, and R<5> are each H or alkyl; R<2> is alkylene or hydroxyalkylene; X<-> is a halide ion or R6SO3<->; R<6> is alkylarom., alkoxy, or (R<7>O)2PO2<->; and R<7> is alkyl] having a quaternary ammonium salt group, a cross-linking oligomer (e. g. polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate), a tri- or higher functional (meth)acrylic ester (e.g. trimethylolpropane triacrylate), and a photopolymn. initiator are mixed to give an ultraviolet-curable resin compsn., which is applied to the surface of a synthetic resin molding and cured to form an antistatic coating film.
