Abstract:
To provide a receiving coil for MRI units, which accomplishes not only surgeries and the MRI imaging but also the X-ray imaging by keeping the head part of a subject fixed with a brain stereotactic fixture as a part of the receiving coil.
The receiving coil is of a split type and constituted of a semi-circular fixture with the subject fixed on a bed on the lower side thereof and a semi-circular loop conductor on the upper side thereof. A lower coil as the fixture is made of a non-magnetic and electroconductive carbon material with a higher X-ray transmittance and an upper coil is made of an aluminum material and removable when X-ray imaging.
