To provide a myoelectricity measuring electrode apparatus which reduces time and efforts for installing the apparatus on the body and measures myoelectricity stably.
Six pieces of first detection electrodes 9, six pieces of grounding electrodes 10 and six pieces of second detection electrodes 11 are arranged with regular spacing and in parallel on the surface of an electrode support member 8 made of a towel-like fabric. A necessary number of electrodes 9, 10 and 11 selected from the arranged first detection electrodes 9, grounding electrodes 10 and the second detection electrodes 11 are connected in series to wiring for external connection 12 via wiring sheets 13, 14 and 15 arranged on the rear face of the electrode support member 8 to form a myoelectricity measuring electrode apparatus I. By mounting the myoelectricity measuring electrode apparatus I on a necessary part of the body and by attaching the electrodes 9, 10 and 11 on the surface of the skin, myoelectric signals of the muscle oriented to a direction connecting one of the first detection electrodes 9 and one of the second detection electrodes 11 are detected. With such a configuration, deviation of mounting direction or orientation direction due to movement of the muscle is permitted.
