To provide a built-in type garbage treating machine for preventing a bad odor from diffusing indoors upon disposal and conveyance in a house.
A storage container 15 comprises: an opening part 21 constituted as a garbage charging port from the interior of the treating machine body 1 and a taking-out port upon the disposal; and a closure means 23 which has a cover A34 formed with a slidable transparent member and is energized by spring bodies 22 disposed on right and left sides. The closure means 23, when the storage container is mounted onto a main body container 7, causes a rib in the container to push a back end part 24 of the closure means 23 and slide forwards to open the opening part 21. Further, the closure means 23 is constituted so as to compress the spring bodies 22 and, when being taken-out from the main body container 7, the closure means 23 is pushed back backwards by the elasticity of the spring bodies 22 to close the opening part 21.
