Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which stored E-mails can be printed better than a conventional image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An MFP (MultiFunction Peripheral) 10 having a normal state and an energy-saving state comprises a mail reception means 31 for receiving E-mails, a nonvolatile storage 55 which stores the E-mails thus received, a mail print means 21 for printing the E-mails thus stored in the normal state, a determination value counter 32 which stores the determination value used for determining the printing of E-mails, a determination value changing means 33 for changing the determination value stored in the determination value counter 32, and a printing-of-mail determination means 34 for determining whether or not an E-mail is printed by the mail print means 21 based on the determination value stored in the determination value counter 32 in the energy-saving state. The determination value changing means 33 changes the determination value by adding an amount of changes to the determination value according to the recipient of E-mail thus received every time an E-mail is received.
