Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polyamide/aromatic polyimide composite porous membrane simultaneously endowed, at advanced levels, with heat resistance, oxidation/reduction resistance, and metal dendrite growth inhibitory performance; a separator for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same; and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: The provided aromatic polyamide/aromatic polyimide composite porous membrane includes, from one surface of a porous membrane, a layer constituted by an aromatic polyamide porous membrane over a span of 1-29 μm along the thickness direction and, from the other surface of the same, a layer constituted by an aromatic polyimide porous membrane over a span of 1-29 μm along the thickness direction.
