Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a cord aperture narrow at a side part of a joint.SOLUTION: A tire reinforcement material according to an embodiment is made of a ply in which a plurality of cords arranged in parallel are coated with rubber. The tire reinforcement material has a joint where ends of the ply are joined together in the state of overlapping each other. An interval between the cords of the ply at a side part of the joint is set shorter than an interval between the cords of the ply at the other parts. In addition, a pneumatic tire is made by using the tire reinforcement material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
