Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient positioning support device for supporting patient positioning work when executing control to position a bed on which a patient is placed in a radiation therapy such as a heavy corpuscular ray therapy, which enables a DR image and a DRR image to be matched easily even when an organ of the patient is moved or deformed.SOLUTION: A patient positioning support device is configured so that a 3DCT image and a VOI image can be moved independently, and the 3DCT image and the VOI image are fine-tuned on 6 axes to maximize the similarity of a DR image and a DRR image, thereby coping with the deformation and movement of an organ of a patient flexibly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
