Kind Code:
B1
Abstract:
1,247,724. Magnetic recording medium; electrophotographic film. MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO. Ltd. 17 Sept., 1968 [22 Sept., 1967], No. 44219/68. Headings H1H and H1K. [Also in Division G2] An electrophotographic motion picture film is transparent and has a magnetic sound recording strip applied to a surface of the film opposite to its sensitive surface. The film has in order on a polymer base a conductive layer, e.g. cuprous iodide, titanium monoxide, chromium, nickel-chromium alloy, copper, gold, tin chloride or titanium, an adhesive layer, e.g. polyvinyl acetate or vinyl chloride vinyl acetate copolymer, and an organic photoconductor, e.g. brominated poly-N-vinyl carbazole forming a charge transfer complex with 3,6-dinitronaphthalic anhydride or 1-nitroanthraquinone. The magnetic sound track is prepared from a composition consisting of 100 parts by weight Y-hematite, 35 parts polyvinylacetate, 10 or 8 parts of polyurethane resin, 140 parts methylethyl ketone, 70 parts methylisobutyl ketone and 70 parts methoxy acetate.
