PURPOSE: To seach an address signal within a short time while the reproducer is in the state of playback and position its pickup playback means to a desired track by feeding the pickup playback means at high and low speed respectively depending upon the magnitude of the difference in the track corresponding to the assigned address signal and the track at the current playback time.
