PURPOSE: To align and feed electronic part chips by receiving electronic parts through the cross section of a first path, receiving the parts through the cross section of a second path only when the width of the part is directed in the lateral direction, and providing a rotary body having a relay path that is communicated to both paths.

CONSTITUTION: An aligning path 9a of a hopper 2 has a first path 13 on the upstream and has a second path 14 on the downstream. The cross section of the path 13 receives a part regardless of the direction of the width of an electronic part chip 4, and high-speed feeding is possible. The cross section of the path 14 receives the part only when the width of the chip 4 is directed in the lateral direction. A rotary body 15 is provided between both paths and provided with a relay path 16. The rotary body is rotated around the axis of the direction of the path 16. The path 16 has a size which is longer than or shorter than the length of the chip 4. The path 16 receives the chip regardless of the direction of the width as in the path 13 and has a space in which one chip can be accommodated. When a sensor 22 detects the absence of the chip, the rotary body 15 is rotated. The feeding of the chip into the path 14 and the discharge of the chip through an outlet port 12 of the aligning path 9a are continued.
