Title:
ARRAY ANTENNA DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3820107
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna device that has a simple structure, as compared with the conventional ESPAR antenna and in which excited and parasitic elements are formed easily.
SOLUTION: In the conventional ESPAR antenna, at least one or more dielectric substrates 3a, 3b, and 3c each carrying at least one of parasitic elements A1-A6 on its surface are provided around a driven element A0. Alternatively, the ESPAR antenna is provided with a first dielectric substrate 303b on which the driven element A0 and at least one of the parasitic elements A1-A6 are formed, and at least one of second dielectric substrates 303a and 303c each carrying at least one of the other parasitic elements A1-A6 on its surface are formed around the driven element A0. In this array antenna device, being different from the ESPAR antenna, dielectric films 403, each carrying at least one of the parasitic elements A1-A6 on its surface, are provided around the driven element A0.
