PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile accident support system and an automobile accident support method for providing sufficient support in case of an automobile accident.
SOLUTION: A communication satellite 4 for relaying radio transmitted information is provided, and a ground notification device 24a for outputting notice information is provided at a ground support post or the like. In the case of accident information being transmitted from an automobile 3 in an accident, accident information relayed by the communication satellite 4 is received by a ground transmitter-receiver 12 or the like, and a central control part 11 carries out processing for supporting the automobile 3a in the accident according to the accident information and controls the ground notification device 24a to output notice information in the case of accident information being radio-transmitted from the automobile 3a in the accident.
