To solve the problem that a child having the spine not sufficiently grown into the S-shaped curve has to assume a posture of a stoop by curving the back when the child carries a backpack such as a knapsack weighing 3 to 5 Kg, and the line of sight of the child is forcedly directed downward.
In a first region which comes into contact with the vicinities of the right and left scapulas and a second region which comes into contact with vicinities of the upper parts of the right and left lumbar bones, raised sections 1a, 1b, 2a and 2b of having the highest height are provided. In a third region between the first region and the second region, raised sections 3a and 3b having an intermediate height are provided with a specified interval in the lateral direction so that the protrusions of the spinal apophyses may be housed. At the same time, in a fourth region between the second regions at two locations on the right and the left, a raised section 4 having the lowest height is provided.
