Abstract:
To allow for depositing a large number of banknotes continuously.SOLUTION: A banknote handling device includes: a delivery mechanism 125 to 127, 128, 129 for sequentially transporting a banknote B deposited in a deposit part 120 to the inside; a sensor 401 installed at a predetermined position for detecting the banknote accumulated in the deposit part; a control part 10 for determining additional replenishment of banknotes to the deposit part using a detection signal from a sensor during a depositing process; and notification means 19 for notifying a user of the additional replenishment of banknotes according to the determination of the control part. The depositing process is made by taking the banknotes accumulated in the deposit part into the inside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
