Title:
BATTERY-DRIVEN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3414278
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery-driven electric vehicle provided with a cooling system, which performs cooling operation to a charger when the vehicle is operated and when a battery is being charged, especially when it is in the state of a pole-changing point voltage or lower.
SOLUTION: A battery charger 11 is connected to an external three-phase AC power supply. It is also connected to a positive pole and a negative pole so as to be connected to a battery 13. A charging controller 15 is connected to detect the total voltage of especially the battery 13. A charging operating signal 17 and a pole-changing point discriminating signal 18 are output to a fan controller 16. A running and cargo-work drive controller 19 is provided with a cooling system which constitutes a cooling plate 21, a ventilation tube 22 and a cooling fan 20. While the controller is being operated, a vehicle operating signal 24 is output to the fan controller 16. Then, the fan controller 16 decides from the three signals 17, 18, 24 to on/off control the cooling fan 20. The battery charger 11 and the running and cargo-work drive controller 19 are cooled.
