Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide efficient extraction means of a simple mechanism, for extracting non-metallic bearing metal 12 inserted into-fitted to a stern tube 10 or a shaft bracket 9 of a propeller shaft 11 for a ship.SOLUTION: A metal extraction tool is constituted of a blade 1 held in a longitudinal directional groove formed in a cylindrical holding body 3 or a grip 5 having a blade with an edge and having a constant angle to the blade 1 or the holding body 3, and a handle 4 for connecting the holding body and the grip, and non-metallic bearing metal 12 can be smoothly cut in the longitudinal direction by adjusting the held blade length, and the non-metallic bearing metal 12 can be easily extracted by dividing the metal into a plurality of pieces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
