Abstract:
To provide a living body pseudo material for an ultrasonic diagnostic device phantom that does not cause a change with time, and has physical property of which sound velocity is 1500 (m/s) or more, viscosity is low and an attenuation coefficient (propagation loss) is small.SOLUTION: A low volatile organic gel expansion medium is contained in a segmented polyurethane gel having a segment of an alkylene oxide, the organic gel expansion medium being a two-liquid mixture of glymes and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone. There is a variety of glymes including diethylene glycol dimethyl ether. Also, there is a variety of segmented polyurethane gel having a segment of an alkylene oxide including a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. For the adjustment of the attenuation coefficient and sound velocity, powder whose acoustic impedance is different from that of the segmented polyurethane gel such as PMMA may be dispersed. A phantom is manufactured by using this living body pseudo material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
