PURPOSE: To change the grinding conditions freely by setting the number of tallet revolutions N and the pot rotation ratio n/N (n: number of pot revolutions) on a control board independently, calculating the revolving speed of a sun gear, at which the number of pot revolutions becomes n, from the set value, and sending a signal to inverter controllers.
CONSTITUTION: Number of tallet revolutions N is set by a digital switch on a control board 16, and the pot rotation ratio n/N is set by another digital switch. A calculator part 19 calculates the number of pot revolutions n and the number of revolutions of a sun gear necessary for the number of pot revolutions becomes n and sends number-of-revolutions set signals to inverter controllers 14, 15. These inverter controllers 14, 15 control the numbers of revolutions of a motor 12 to rotate the tallet 1 and a motor 13 to rotate sun gear individually and accurately to high degree. As a result, planetary motion can be made precisely as set on the pot 2 mounted on the tallet 1.
