Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remarkably curtail burden for changing a translation and to raise efficiency by providing a means for designating a word to be changed from a singular form to a plural form or from a plural form to a singular form, a means for changing it, and a means for re-editing it. CONSTITUTION:When a text is inputted, with respect to a word whose ending, etc., are varied, a morpheme analysis is executed by retrieving a regular.irregular variation dictionary 3a in a translation dictionary 3. Thereafter, a word and an idiom are drawn out by retrieving a word.idiom dictionary 3b. Subsequently, each word candidate which has been drawn out of the dictionary 3b is sent to a syntax analyzing part through an analysis control. In such a way, by using an analytical grammar 3c, a syntax analysis of a translation candidate is executed, a word train in English consisting of a Japanese structure is generated. Subsequently, it is converted to an English structure in accordance with a conversional grammar 3d, and determined in accordance with a generational grammar 3e. Also, by a morpheme generation processing which has used a morpheme generational grammar 3f, the ending, etc., of a word are corrected with respect to a word train whose word order has been determined.
