Abstract:

To provide a chemically strengthened glass plate suitable for laser cutting, having good locus accuracy of cut line.

A glass plate before being subjected to a chemically strengthening process consists of a surface layer in which compressive stress remains, a back surface layer in which compressive stress remains, an intermediate layer formed between the surface layer and the back surface layer, in which tensile stress remains. A maximum residual compressive stress of the surface layer and a maximum residual compressive stress of the back surface layer are 600 MPa or more, respectively, and an internal residual tensile stress of the intermediate layer is 15 MPa or more. The glass plate before being subjected to the chemically strengthening process contains, in mol% in terms of following oxides, 56 to 75% of SiO2, 5 to 20% of Al2O3, 0 to less than 3% of B2O3, 8 to 22% of Na2O, 0 to 10% of K2O, 0 to 14% of MgO, 0 to 5% of CaO, and contains a content of all Sn in terms of SnO2 (SnO2 content) in the glass is 0.03 to 1 mass% and ta content of Fe2+ in terms of FeO (FeO content) in the glass is 0.01 to 0.2 mass%. A chemically strengthened glass plate is obtained by chemically strengthening the glass plate before being subjected to the chemically strengthening process.
