To prevent damage to a head skin and the surface of hair and moreover, remove uncomfortableness felt by a handling person by a method wherein a resin gate is so arranged to come into contact with a part other than the surface of comb teeth during the injection molding of the comb teeth and after the molding of the comb teeth, the mark on the resin gate is left at a part other than the surface of the comb teeth.

A brush body 2 is constituted of a shaft body 4 and a pluralzty of comb teeth 6 which are integrally linked to the shaft body 4 by a base part 5 extended longitudinally. The comb teeth 6 have a lower end part 7 thereof below the base part 5 and the lower part 7 is fitted into a hole part 8 formed in the shaft body 4 to integrally link the comb teeth 6 to the shaft body 4. The shaft body 4 has a hollow part 9 as filling chamber of a coating agent for hair thereinside and one end part of the hollow part 9 communicates with the inside of a container 1. In a coating device, a mark 13 on a resin gate generated in the injection molding of the comb teeth is left at a position where the resin gate mark 13 will not come into contact with a head skin and the surface of hair, thereby keeping the resin gate from damaging the head skin and the surface of hair during the use of the device.
