To provide a comparator circuit with a hysteresis employing a shunt regulator.
The comparator circuit 1 is provided with a shunt regulator 2. The shunt regulator 2 comprises an operational amplifier 3, a transistor(TR) 4, and a reference voltage source 5. A voltage division circuit 6 to which voltage division resistors R1, R2 are connected in series is connected to an input of the shunt regulator 2, and a series circuit comprising a resistor R3 and a TR 7 is connected in parallel with the voltage division resistor R2 of the voltage division circuit 6. A control terminal of the TR 7 is connected to an output terminal of the shunt regulator 2 via a resistor R4 and the output terminal of the shunt regulator 2 is connected to a power supply Vcc via a resistor R5.
