Abstract:
To achieve a higher mechanical strength as to a composite electrolyte membrane containing a carbon hydride based polymer electrolyte.SOLUTION: A composite electrolyte membrane comprises a composite layer into which a carbon hydride based polymer electrolyte and a fluorine-containing polymer porous base material are compounded. The content of oxygen atoms of the fluorine-containing polymer porous base material of the composite layer is 10 mass% or less. According to observation on a section of the composite layer by a scanning electron microscope, the number of pores of 1 um or larger is 10 or less per 0.01 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
