PURPOSE: To improve absorption efficiency, by a constitution, wherein an absorber layer including a dielectric absorber and/or a magnetic absorber and a reflecting layer under a superconducting state are laminated.
CONSTITUTION: In this constitution, an absorber layer 1 including a dielectric absorber and/or a magnetic absorber and a reflecting layer 2 under a superconducting state are laminated. As the dielectric absorber used in the absorber layer 1, no special restriction is applied, and e.g., carbon based material and the like can be used. As the magnetic absorber, no special restriction is applied, and, e.g., ferrite and the like can be used. As the reflecting layer 2, which is laminated at the rear of the absorbing layer 1 such as this in the advancing direction of an electromagnetic wave 4, a so-called superconductive material in a superconducting state or a Meissner state at an operating temperature can be used. Thus this absorber functions as an absorber for various radio waves and their higher harmonic waves, and very high absorption efficiency is obtained.
