The method for inspecting the hollow vane inspects the hollow vane being formed by a casting process. The method is provided with a step (S03) which forms a core surface model representing a three-dimensional shape of the outer surface of a core being used for forming a cavity within the hollow vane when casting it, steps (S06, S08) in which the hollow vane (1) is worked, a step (S10) which measures the three-dimensional shape of a portion to be inspected in the hollow vane after the working and forms an inspection portion surface model representing the three-dimensional shape of the portion to be inspected (1c), and steps (S11, S12) which compute the sectional form and/or the wall thickness of the hollow vane (1) after the working based on both the core surface model and the inspection portion surface model.
