Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a concentration detector function normally, even in fuel-cut times, in the concentration detector for detecting the concentration of specified components in gas.
SOLUTION: This concentration detector for detecting the concentration of specified components in the gas, based on the oxygen amount generated in decomposition of the specified component, is provided with oxygen-generating means 16, 10 for decomposing the specified components to generate oxygen, oxygen discharging means 7, 8 for discharging oxygen from the gas, before decomposing the specified component to generate oxygen by the oxygen-generating means, and an oxygen-discharging capacity increasing means for increasing oxygen discharging capacities of the oxygen discharging means, when increasing the ratio of the oxygen concentration is increased in the gas, before oxygen is generated by the oxygen-generating means exceeds a prescribed ratio.
