PURPOSE: To contrive reduction in weight and enhancement in responsiveness by forming the base end part on at least one side of control arms into a forked arm arranged in a line in the front and rear directions, and connecting the arm on one side to the base end part on the other side, and also by journaling the forked arm to a vehicle body via a bolt or the like.

CONSTITUTION: Upper and lower arms 2a, 2b of a knucle 2 for journaling a wheel 1 are connected to the ends of respective upper and lower control arms 3, 4 which are supported by a vehicle body so as to be oscillatable in the up- and-down directions, via respective upper and lower ball joints 5, 6. In the above constitution, for example, the rear base end part 3r of the upper control arm 3 is formed by a forked arm 49, 49' arranged in a line in the front and rear directions. And the arm 49 on the front side is straightly connected to the front base end part 3f via a connecting part 3c extending in the front and rear directions of a vehicle body. Further, the intermediate part of a bolt 56 for supporting both end parts of the forked arm 49, 49' is journaled to the vehicle body via a rubber bushing 55.
