Abstract:
To provide a control method capable of stabilizing the qualities of products.SOLUTION: A control method includes a step of acquiring a value or values of one or more first variables indicating the condition of a control object included in an object process, and a value or values of one or more second variables acquired by another controller which controls a process preceding or succeeding the object process, a step of generating a causal model representing a causal relationship between two variables out of the acquired plural variables, a step of selecting an adjustment object variable from among the one or more first variables using the causal model in response to the fact that the value of a second variable falls out of a management range, and a step of, when a second variable is acquired from a succeeding process, adjusting a target value of the adjustment object variable so as to return the value of the second variable to the management range, and of, when a second variable is acquired from a preceding process, adjusting the target value of the adjustment object variable so as to cancel out a variation quantity of the second variable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
