Abstract:
To improve the control of a damper adjustable according to a sky- hook method.
One or many vibration dampers of a suspension of a wheel of a vehicle have damping force devices. The damping force device calculates a control signal for adjusting a damper characteristic within a control range according to a standard controlling method. By raising or lowering an upper limit of the control range and/or raising or lowering a lower limit of the control range, the control range of damping force is changed during a specified traveling state. A soft position of the damper is limited according to the signal for notifying or showing delay in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle or a change of lateral acceleration of the vehicle, in particular.
