Abstract:
To allow a manuscript being conveyed currently to slide into under a manuscript which has been conveyed previously, even when the number of manuscripts to be conveyed continuously is increased.SOLUTION: In a compound machine 1, when a flap 180 is at a first position P51, a manuscript 12, under which a tip of another manuscript 12 being conveyed currently is caused to slide into, is supported by an intermediate discharge chute part 179. When the flap 180 is at a second position P52, the manuscript 12, under which a tip of the another manuscript 12 being conveyed currently is caused to slide into, is supported by a lower side discharge chute part 178. A rear end side in the plurality of manuscripts 12, on an ADF manuscript tray 33, conveyed continuously by a conveyance roller 171 and the like is supported separately by the intermediate discharge chute part 179 and the lower side discharge chute part 178.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
