Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic capable of changing the apparent hue of the skin while keeping transparent feeling and remarkably effective for hiding the pigmentation irregularities on the skin such as spots and freckles.
SOLUTION: The objective cosmetic contains (A) powder of flaky metal oxide having hollow structure and (B) inorganic powder having a refractive index of 1.6-1.8, a scattered light transmittance of ≥70% and a total transmittance of ≥85% measured on a thin film having a powder concentration of 20 wt.% and a thickness of 25 μm.
