To provide a defect predicting system, a machine learning device, a defect predicting method, and a program for further accurately performing defect prediction regarding welding.SOLUTION: A defect predicting system 100 for predicting a defect which occurs in welding includes: first prediction means 205 which predicts a defect by using a first learned model which uses a welding parameter as an input and outputs a parameter indicating a size of the defect; second prediction means 206 which predicts the defect by using a second learned model which uses the welding parameter as an input and outputs a parameter indicating the size of the defect; and third prediction means 207 which predicts the size of the defect on the basis of the parameter predicted by the first prediction means 205 and the parameter predicted by the second prediction means 206.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
