Abstract:

To provide microflow devices, kits and methods useful for detecting or isolating desired target cells or molecules from a sample.

A closure plate in contact with a body 13 so as to seal against leakage is provided. A microchannel arrangement includes a plurality of transverse separator posts being integral with a base surface of the microchannel and projecting therefrom to a surface of the closure plate, wherein the posts provide a randomized flow path. A liquid containing the sample is passed through the microflow device comprising the randomized flow path, wherein sequestering agents are attached, and thereby, the desired target cells or the target molecules are detected and/or separated.
