PURPOSE: To uniformly fill magnetic powders in the cavity of a powder molding machine by a method wherein the powder near the upper surface of a die is made rotatably rockable through a path along which the end of a U-shaped rod rotates.
CONSTITUTION: The top face 14 of a die 2 and the top face of a lower punch 9 are previously made flush and a shoe box 1 is moved to above the lower punch 9. A rotary shaft 6 is rotated by its drive motor to stir magnetic powders 4 into a loose state. As a result, the magnetic powders 4 in the shoe box 1 are cut by the bottom part and the vertical parts of a U-shaped rod 7 in an uninterrupted manner to fluidize the magnetic powders, whereby the pressure of the magnetic powders 4 on the bottom surface becomes uniform. When the lower punch 9 is lowered, the magnetic powder 4 fully loosened by the fluidization is uniformly filled in a cavity 8. The rotation of the rotary shaft 6 is stopped and the shoe box 1 is moved back to level off the powder, thereby completing the filling of the magnetic powder 4 into the cavity 8.
