Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the production efficiency of a program by adding a machining element copy part for copying the contents of a machining element to another machining element. CONSTITUTION:When machining elements need to be altered for several shapes, an operator selects another edited shape as a copy source again and then selects another shapes as a copy destination shape similarly. Those shapes are selected by a shape selection part 6. Then a machining element selection part 10 retrieves a machining element corresponding to the copy source shape and a machining element corresponding to the copy destination shape automatically. Then a machining element copy part 11 copies the contents (machining parameter) of the machining element corresponding to the copy destination machining shape to a machining element corresponding to the copy destination matching shape. Consequently, the production efficiency of the NC program when the number of shapes and the number of machining parameters are large can be increased.
