Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new compound having extremely low hygroscopic property and extremely stable physical properties and thereby, not influenced by environmental humidity in storage and capable of readily handling as medicine or its raw material and widely utilizing.
CONSTITUTION: This diadenosinetetraphosphoric acid tetrasodium salt dodecahydrate crystal is expressed by the formula. The compound is obtained by reacting, e.g. adenosine-5'-triphosphoric acid with an amino acid in the presence of an aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase to afford diadenosinetetraphosphoric acid, purifying the reaction solution using an anionic exchange resin, adding a hydrophilic organic solvent such as an alcohol or acetone, preferably in 30-50% concentration to the purified solution to carry out crystallization and filtering and drying the resultant crystals.
