Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc play in which the player body part can be substan tially secured to the outer frame chassis through a simple mechanism in loading a disc, or the like.
SOLUTION: The player body part 3 being supported movably in the outer frame chassis 2 through a damper 4 comprises a base part 6 coupled with the damper 4, and a plate 7 movable relatively to the base part 6 and approaching the surface of a disc 10 or receding therefrom. The base part 6 comprises a disc containing/holding part 61, a loading mechanism for shifting the disc containing/holding part 61 in order to load/unload the disc 10, and a lifter member 66 for lifting/lowering the movable plate 7 in order to clamp/unclamp the disc 10. The movable plate 7 is brought into contact with the predetermined surface of the outer frame chassis 2 through unclamping operation of the movable plate 7 and the base part 6 is brought into contact with a surface facing the predetermined surface of the outer frame chassis 2.
