Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming inorg. ferroelectric substance films having sufficient ferroelectric properties and reliability and a display device produced by the same.
SOLUTION: Data electrodes 4 consisting of metallic films of tantalum(Ta), the ferroelectric substance films 5 consisting of PZT in a polycrystalline state and pixel electrodes 6 consisting of ITO of transparent conductive films are successively laminated and formed on one glass substrate (lower) 1. Scanning electrodes 7 consisting of the ITO of the transparent conductive films are formed on another glass substrate (upper) 2. Liquid crystals 3 are sealed between a pair of these substrates.
