To provide a without-gate-substrate type liquid crystal display device in which a driver IC for a normal arrangement is made usable as a driver IC for an irregular arrangement as it is.
The liquid crystal display device 10 is characterized by: arranging a plurality of COFs 12A-12C for gate driving, on which for example gate driver ICs 16A-16C are respectively mounted, on an edge of a liquid crystal display panel 11; connecting neighboring COFs for gate driving in series; and arranging detour wires 25A-25C of the COF side to connect an input wire 18A of the COF 12A for gate driving located on the one end portion side to a signal input terminal 28 from an outside circuit substrate 14 arranged on a periphery in the vicinity of the other COF 12C for gate driving, and detour wires 26A-26C of the panel side with double layer structures interposing an insulating layer, along the outermost edge side of the plurality of COFs 12A-12C for gate driving and along the outermost edge side of the liquid crystal display panel.
