PURPOSE: To impart a breathing property to a crotch part in a disposable diaper which has a pocket structure provided with a pocket hole at the central area thereof for discharging excrements.
CONSTITUTION: A water absorbing core 2 is arranged between a hydrophilic sheet 3 and a leak preventing film 1 and the hydrophilic sheet 3 is covered with a surface sheet for forming a hydrophobic pocket while a pocket hole is provided to discharge excrements at the center area of the surface sheet. The leak preventing film 1 is formed in such a manner that a width thereof is the same as or larger than that of the absorbing core 2 while it is no larger than reaches the crotch part. The surface sheet is made to stick out of both sides of the leak preventing film 1 to form the crotch part of a diaper. Thus, a disposable diaper is produced with a breathing property imparted thereto.
