Abstract:
To assist appropriate and safe driving by presenting an appropriate traveling trajectory at a left or right turn point or a curve or on a road where the travel history of a vehicle satisfies a prescribed condition.SOLUTION: A driving assist device comprises: a vehicle information acquisition unit 230 which acquires vehicle information including the current position information of a vehicle and map information around the vehicle; an appropriate data acquisition unit 236 which, when it is determined that the vehicle is approaching a left or right turn point or a curve or when it is determined that the travel history of the road satisfies a prescribed condition, acquires appropriate travel trajectory information indicating the travel trajectory of appropriate traveling from the travel trajectory information acquired from a plurality of vehicles; a video generation unit 237 which generates an appropriate trajectory video indicating the travel trajectory of appropriate traveling on the basis of the appropriate travel trajectory information acquired by the appropriate data acquisition unit 236; and a display control unit 238 which causes a display unit 22 to display the appropriate trajectory video generated by the video generation unit 237.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
