Abstract:

To provide electrical equipment which is improved in assembling properties of a bus bar while an increase in the size is suppressed, and a manufacturing method thereof.

PCU 700 is equipped with U phase arms 721U and 731U, V phase arms 721V and 731V and W phase arms 721W and 731W, a bus bar 750P and a bus bar 750N which connect parallel the U phase arms 721U and 731U, the V phase arms 721V and 731V and the W phase arms 721W and 731W, a smoothing capacitor C2 which is connected parallel to the U phase arms 721U and 731U, the V phase arms 721V and 731V and the W phase arms 721W and 731W and stores an electric charge, and a discharge resistance part 760 which comprises a chip resistance so fixed to the bus bars 750P and 750N as to maintain a gap between the bus bars 750P and 750N to be prescribed and makes the smoothing capacitor C2 discharge the electric charge stored therein.
